Welcome to "Little Precious Paws", and thank you
for visiting our new and growing website. We have both had
dogs all of our lives and transitioning from large breeds to
Boston Terriers has been a wonderful experience. Boston's are
fun, alert and intelligent. This
makes training relatively easy in obedience, conformation,
and even agility. Our home
is located in the Calabasas foothills of CA. Our dogs
are first and foremost, part of our family and are treated
as such. They receive the best of nutrition so they
will grow up healthy and strong. A strong part of growing
up healthy is love, and they get loads of that!
Our adult dogs, Baxter and Sadie have both been tested for
hearing, "BAER" test, eyes, "CERF" test, and
knee joints, patella's. Our family is small at present and
will grow with time. We will not breed excessively, but what
we will strive for is excellence and betterment in the breed.
Any dog sold as a family pet will be required to be spayed
/neutered. The purpose is specifically to eliminate
accidental breeding. They will be sold with an AKC Limited
Registration. Meaning.....the dog will still be recognized
as a purebred dog, but the dog will not be able to be shown
in AKC conformation. It will be able to participate
in other performance events.
We will do our utmost to make sure that, if you should decide
to purchase a puppy, it will be healthy. If, at any
time you should find yourself in the position of not wanting
the dog, or for unforeseen circumstances, we will be glad to
accept him/her back.
This is our first breeding and we are absolutely delighted
with the results. Mommy Sadie was terrific with the
puppies and Daddy Baxter joined in with the family tasks as
well, except for nursing of course! This has been a
wonderful experience and I look forward to more breeding in
the future. The closeness and socialization with adults,
children and other animals has made our pups ready to meet
the world.
We decided to put this site together to share with friends,
both old and new, photos, experiences, and information for
interested visitors. Both the AKC
website or
the Boston
Terrier Club of America, are great reference areas to expand
your knowledge of the breed. Please
feel free to contact us anytime.
We have provided a Guest book and
hope that you will sign it. Don't worry, you will never be
solicited unless you want to be.
Enjoy our site, browse through the gallery and again, thanks
for showing an interest in Boston Terriers.
